Chateau St Jean

Under the great California sun at chateau St Jean winery. A flight of 8 wines, life is great!!!
They make 38 different wines every year, 80% of their wine is not distributed, only sold in the winery. 200-800 cases are produced for each wine each year, except cinq cepages cabernet, which has 8000 cases are produced for distribution.
Heavenly! That's what Erik commented.

Ignacio, California 10, 13, 2011

First drive to the wine county. Stopped over Ignacio for a coffee. Revisiting S.F. is such a heart-warming trip. Looking at the beautiful houses, shops, plants, museums, bridges, people, quietly walking on the street, fashionable..... My mind wandered, amazed by how much human can do; how much human can organized and accomplish; and how much human life can be wasted, how much human can destroy!!! California was a desert, Americans can transform it into such a "heaven" of living. If this is in Africa or middle east, it may have been kept as a lifeless desert; or a ruin of wars. It is all human, human mind, intellectual, spiritual, philosophical.... The power of mind transform into extraordinary power to change the world, reshape the world, make a life wonderful, savoring the nature can offer, nurture our mind and soul.... Life is great, live it, to the fullest! Savor the experience of living, creativity; not war, not religious struggle; don't let mind-fucking struggle occupy your life, don't let fucked-up mind fuck your life! Live! Life is great, no time to waste.

Looking at the neat organized grape wines,it is beautiful! See, this is how much human can do! If you make ur effort, the nature will cooperate with; like training a horse, if you put enough, right effort, nature will work with you. You can make a big production of grape for wine making, in the meantime, make it beautiful..... god is watching, he is watching you, he is watching us, he is watching out for those who work hard to create, to make a living....

Fight with regular psychology

Recent up & down of the market really is inspiring. Once and once again, finally I realized that you just need to fight with the "regular" psychology. Feel like a normal person, when the market is going so down, down to the point that you feel u r going to lose all, and you start to tell yourself: I just can't put any money in the market anymore, that's the time to move your money to the investment account, and start to buy!!!

Whenever you see the market is going up and up, you start to almost think no risk, feeling the more you put in, the more you will make; you feel compelled to buy, that's the moment to stop! Stop buying! Instead, that's the time to SELL, to cash in the gain. Then, stack away the cash, wait for the market to fall.....

netflix and amazon are examples

netflix: a couple of weeks ago, it seems unstoppable. Bouncing back to 230 seemed amazing, as it was 300 before. I tried hard to get it at 219. Now look, it is 130 now. Unbelievable!

So again, patience! Nothing is untouchable! Just wait for the fall....

Remember another lesson from Netflix is: sell at the right moment. It may gain, but if you don't sell, it can only come back down one day!

Now, looking at Amazon, today it is rising, to 230, juping $7, as it pushes the Kindle. I am burning again to buy.... No, no, no! Big lessen learned: don't get excited when one stock is going up; instead, get excited when it is going down and down, that's the opportunity to buy!

Patience, patience, patience; timing, timing and timing

Recent market up-and-down gave me lessons again and again ana again:

Be patient..... when you think it may just take off without you, that you are going to "miss the flight", then you lose your patience, you bought, YOU ARE WRONG! then it falls and falls again.... when it really bottomed, you don't have money to buy at the cheapest price......

So, get more and more patient; keep calm, and catch it when it is really really low!!!

Patience! Keep the reserve for the best, the right moment! Timing, timing, timing!!!

our orgnanic life - first cucumber from the garden

We started our graden around memorial day. My freinds, Ted and Kent, gave us 15 different kind of tomato. We planted in the garden.

My partner, Erik, bought seeds for raddish, bell pepper, zuchini, cucumbers and more tomato. We seeded them after memorial day.

Ever since, we have watering them, taken care of them.

Cucumber grow so fast and wildly. Today, I found the firrst cucumber to term, out of surprise, uder the leaves, a big one, on the way to become a watermelon :-). I picked it. And picked a small one as well, to compare taste. I washed them, and put in the box of the fridge which stores our harvest from the garden ....lettice and tomatoes....
